The Vintage Collection finish is an exciting new concept that we have not previously offered. This labor-intensive finish creates a truly artistic, antiqued piece of furniture that will not only be functional but an exceptional addition to one’s home. This finish is unique in its visual and physical presentation. It is a fresh new look that manages to maintain the sense of “old” about it.

The pieces not only look “old”, they feel “old”. We have artistically applied new procedures so that what the eye sees, the hand also “feels”. A textured-feel on each piece is created to simulate the many layers of paint applied over the years. We use an aging agent not only on the outside of the furniture but on the interiors as well. This keeps the aged look consistent even when the doors or the drawers are opened during everyday use. The aged metal hardware goes through the finishing process at the same time as the furniture. This high attention to detail maintains the antiqued look throughout the entire piece. All sanding of the piece attempts to accurately recreate the wear and tear of time and usage. Wormholes, bangs and dents are heavily applied to the exterior of the piece with a realistic consideration of how that piece would actually “age”.  We have taken all these steps in the endeavor to maintain the integrity of our “antique reproductions”.

Our art staff has carefully designed 4 different looks to choose from in our Vintage Collection. Keeping in mind the infinite variety of color schemes possible we have carefully selected specific complimentary colors for each individual look. These color combinations allow for greater versatility in blending vintage with existing color schemes or in creating a complete new look with a combination of vintage and stains or paint.
